Can anyone help me with a detailed affiliate marketing strategy?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I started getting involved in affiliate marketing a couple of months ago, but I feel like I am jumping all over and not getting anything accomplished. I need an actual affiliate marketing strategy that I can follow step by step. Does anybody have a good one to follow? I am willing to pay some money for a program or tutorial.

Just like you I only started doing affiliate marketing about 3 months ago, but before that I had researched it for about 3 months. I came across a website for Matt Bacak, www.mattbacak.com, who is already a millionaire and I think he is only like 30 years old. He has several products that you can buy and also a newsletter that you can subscribe to you called Internet Marketing Dirt. I have found his products and even his free information on affiliate marketing strategy a ton better and more informative than anybody else’s that I have come across in the 3 months that I did research on affiliate marketing.

I have only been doing actual affiliate marketing part-time at nights and on weekends for 3 months, but I am seeing some pretty good income right now. It’s enough to pay my car payment as well as groceries for the month for our family of 3 so I can’t complain. And I know that it will only increase the more I work at it because I am learning how to be more efficient every day. Although I may never be able to quit my full-time job, I will continue to have this extra money for quite awhile, which means that my wife can stop working.

Anyways, check out Matt’s website and check out the different products as well as his newsletters as he has a great affiliate marketing strategy and is very willing to share it with anyone who will listen.

I am a Real Estate and Finance major. Should I major in Accounting (and go for the CPA) too?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

I am a Junior at a State University. Currently I am double majoring in Real Estate and Finance. My expected graduation, as of now, is May 2010. I am a little concerned about the finding a job after college, with the outlook for Finance and Real Estate jobs not being so hot. I would like to work in the Real Estate/Investment world (not brokerage or appraisal), possibly working for a REIT or something similar. I considering continuing my education for another year and getting an additional agree, this one being a B.S. in Accounting and going for my CPA. I have heard that a strong accounting background is very valuable in the business world and will also make you more marketable when looking for a job. What I am really wondering is= Is it really that beneficial and worth it to take another year of classes to get a degree in accounting? Or would it be a waste of time, and I should just attempt to enter the job market in 2010 with my Finance and Real Estate Degree?

CPAs are always in high demand. You may want to consider it.

What are some free ways to advertise my affiliate marketing website?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

I have absolutely no money right now to use for advertising my affiliate marketing website. I just paid a web designer to develop a coupon like site that promotes affiliate products, but I have not made any money on it yet (it’s only a month old) and now I don’t have money for advertising. What do you suggest I use for completely free advertising?

There are actually plenty of free ways to advertise your website. Things like article marketing and Squidoo are a great way to get backlinks to your website and advertise it. Write up a few articles that relate to your website and then post then on places like ezinearticles and other free article directories. You can also check out making a Squidoo page or a Hub Page that relates to your website.

Another way to advertise your website is to join any forums where you think people would be interested in your website and put the link in your signature. Just be sure that you don’t spam the forums and try to participate according to the rules of the forum.

A great way that you can advertise your affiliate marketing website is through social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. These are free to make accounts on and then just spend a couple of days trying to find some friends that may be interested in your website.

If you want more options for free advertising I recommend that you check out the website www.mattbacak.com. He has great information on there and even has a newsletter and membership group that you can sign up for.

Where to Advertise for affiliate marketing?

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

So i have gotten into online affiliate marketing selling e books. I have wrote a few articles on what im selling on a few popular article sites, and have also created a website using webs.com. But im wondering where else can i advertise my link for my product? Any forums where i can include it in my signature or good sites to make a page or write an article on? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also a place to advertise a ref link for a ptc.

You need to be a bit more specific here. Are these E Books that you have written yourself, and what are they about? If the work is original I would opt for Clickbank as a starting point, so that you can get affiliates to sell for you. the downside of this is that you will have to pay high commissions (up to 75%). You can try and do a search for relevant forums by typing say "forum+keyword" in Google. (keyword being the subject of your Ebook.)

If I sign up at ClickBank to sell affiliate products am I expected to use a new website?

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

Can I use my current website where I am currently selling my products?

No! You can simply make an extension page on your website as a landing page to just about any other product… Keeping it as relevant as you can to the rest of your website however.

Check it out:
http://www.pi2formula.com

Thats my website, now heres a page you cannot access from my homepage but rather if i want to promote Wealthy Affiliate say, I can send you from an article etc. to:

http://www.pi2formula.com/joinwealthyaffiliate.htm

email me if you have any questions. Otherwise you could always use free web space like blogger.com, squidoo.com etc.

Hope this helped,
Cheers… Mike

Which affiliate marketing networks can I make the most money from?

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

I have been using Clickbank for affiliate marketing products for the past 4 months and I just made the payout last week since you have to have 5 different transactions to get your first payout. I only do affiliate marketing part-time on 3 blogs and 1 niche website, but I would love to eventually do it as a full-time job and make more than $75 a month to do so. For people who have experience with different affiliate marketing networks, which one do you see the most sales and income from?

Like you, I used Clickbank for the first 5 months I did affiliate marketing and made about $200 a month. I just did not find many of the products that great to try to sell and most did not convert very well. So, I did some research and found this guy named Matt Bacak who brought to my attention that Clickbank is not the only affiliate network out there. This Bacak guy is actually a millionaire and offers great advice if you want to check him out - www.mattbacak.com.

I joined a couple of different affiliate marketing networks such as Commission Junction, Share A Sale, and Clix Galore. I can’t really say which one is going to make you the most money since I don’t know what kind of products that you want to promote, but here is what I do to get the most out of my affiliate marketing sites.

I check the networks to see what kind of products they have based on the keywords I have chosen for my site. Then, I compare them to see which product or service looks the best and which one has the history of doing the best. Then, I pick that product and go with it for at least 1-2 months and then re-evaluate it to see if one of the other products may be better.

Sometimes I find that Commission Junction is the best and other times it may be Share A Sale that makes me the most money. It all depends on what type of product that you want to try to sell and what topic it is on. Do your research and don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Oh, and I have been doing affiliate marketing now for almost a year full-time after getting laid off and I have now reached the same amount of monthly income that I had at my engineering job, so you can make full-time AM your goal and success can be achieved.

how to get a blogsite started to sell adsense and do affiliate marketing?

Friday, September 25th, 2009

I want to make revenue using adsense and doing affiliate marketing and i am completely lost on the whole process of getting started. I am more of a hands on learner that learns best by being shown how to do it first and then practicing over and over to get it right. If anyone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
I would love a mentor on how to do it, if anyone could, let me know.

I suggest blogger.com for your blogsite since it’s free and easy to put adsense ads. You can get a lot of how to videos on youtube.com just type the keywords "blogger tutorial".

What’s worst: Chinese immigrants donating money to H Clinton cause they like her or M Romney selling the US?

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

Why won’t CNN & Fox News mention this?

Bain Capital: founded in 1984 by Mitt Romney

In June 2005, Bain teamed up with Haier Group, China’s largest appliance maker, and private equity firm Blackstone Group in an attempt to acquire Maytag for over $1 billion. The bid was dropped a month later.

On September 28, 2007, Bain and the Chinese networking company Huawei Technologies acquired 3Com for $2.2 billion in cash. [7]

Bain Capital’s family of funds includes private equity, venture capital, public equity and leveraged debt assets.

Absolute Return Capital (ARC) is the global macro affiliate of Bain Capital managing approximately $600 million of capital. ARC manages assets in fixed income, equity and commodity markets to produce attractive risk-adjusted returns while maintaining low correlation to traditional investments.

Bain Capital Private Equity has raised eight funds and invested in more than 200 companies. The private equity activity includes leveraged buyouts

I’m still waiting for an honest candidate in general. Clinton accepts donations from criminals and foreigners. Obama paid off the election officials in the early voting states. Your not representing the situation with Romney correctly, but I dislike his actions.
