I need help with a clickbank issue i have no idea what is going wrong!?

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

I am an affiliate on clickbank and i have been advertising this one specific site and i got around 500 clicks but not a single sale, not even a form impression but it is telling me that i am getting HOP’s what is the problem?

500 click but not a single sale. For me there could be a few reason.

1. Most people did not buy when they first see the offer. That why most successful people says we need to have landing page, where we can get visitor email address and can do follow up.
2. The conversion rate for the product that you promote is low/very low.
3. You promote to the wrong group of people.
4. You promote to exchange traffic program.

May be you can purchase from your own link to see weather you get commission or not. Be care full.

That all I can think.

I need other ways of marketing my business?

Sunday, October 25th, 2009

I can’t afford to join the Chamber in Chicago just yet($450 per year) since I just started my business a few months ago.

I am a Machinery/Equipment Appraiser. Most clients come from banks, but I am tired of cold calling on banks/attornys’ CPA’s. I need to break the ongoing cycle of bordem because dialing is getting tuff to do day after day.

I can’t pass out flyers or anything like that. Can anyone offer any advice/ideas?

I really would enjoy going out to meet people. More and dialing less.
I appreciate all the answers——-BUT PLEASE READ BEFORE ANSWERING!

There are probably local publications that target the local bankers where you could advertise, but if you can’t afford the $450 for the chamber, then you can’t afford to do any paid advertising.

Figure 2-3 percent of your projected gross annual income for advertising, a little more for start-ups.

You have to ask yourself how badly you want to succeed.

Flyers aren’t the answer.

Put together a general letter introducing yourself and your service. Mail it directly to all the players you want to reach. Make sure it is a personal letter to Mr. Lipschitz, president of Chitown Savings and Loan. Not just a "dear sir or madam"

Follow it up with a personal phone call ensuring the letter was received. Try and get an appointment during the phone conversation where you can meet with your target.

For the meeting, be sharp, dress professionally, even wear a tie. Successful sales are not based on the product so much as the salesman. Be yourself, be likeable. If the banker likes you, you will probably get some business.

Be prepared to answer tough questions and bring some references or testimonials from satisfied customers.

Be ready for rejection. You have to pound the pavement to make this sort of business work. It’s not a bake sale. Flyers won’t work. You need to add legitamecy.

How do i add upsell’s to my clickbank product?

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

I want to add upsell’s to a clickbank product and credit my affiliates with any further sales, i’d also like to make the front end product free. How can i do this and will clickbank allow front end products to be free

Your going to find your most success after your initial sell. Depending on your market and what type of price point you are using I would emphasiss an upsell after the first check out. I would offer an additional product package encompassing either a membership or larger selection or bundle of products at a good discount from the original price.

The process would be sales page and the go to final order page. pay for initial product and after the first sale have your upsell offer introduced and then can offer your additional item or items.

Has anyone really had any affiliate marketing success?

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

I am so frustrated with affiliate marketing. I have been trying to make it as an affiliate marketer for almost a year now. I do it part-time and probably spend about 25-35 hours a week on it. It fills up my weekends and nights and yet I am still not seeing any real income.

There was three months that I saw some good income and then it resided and I am back to making only a few hundred dollars a month. I just learned that I am at risk of losing my job next year if the numbers for the 4th quarter don’t improve at my job. So, should I just give up on marketing and hope that I can get another job somewhere else if I get laid off or can I really have affiliate marketing success?

Affiliate marketing success does not happen overnight. You said that you have been doing it for almost a year, but have you ever done split testing or anything like that to see what is working and what is not? Are you following a certain method or you just winging it yourself?

I learned early on in my Internet marketing endeavor that what works for one person may not work for you. There are plenty of big name marketers that want to sell you the latest program or software to help you succeed and then when you buy it, it does nothing or it is so full of fluff that you don’t learn anything new.

I have not bought a program except for Matt Bacak’s Internet Marketing Dirt newsletter for the past year and I am making more money than ever. I have been doing affiliate marketing for about two and a half years part-time. I don’t really have any intentions of quitting my job, but like you, I like knowing that if I got laid off, I could fall back on affiliate marketing for income.

So, you want to know if you should quit affiliate marketing. I say no especially if your job is in jeopardy. Instead of working harder, work smarter. Are you doing all you can to drive free traffic to your sites? Do your websites or landing pages make people want to buy the products? Have you done split testing on landing pages or keywords to see which ones are the most profitable for you?

Some people have this myth about affiliate marketing that you can simply throw up a website, add some affiliate links, and start making money. You have to work at this and you constantly have to analyze your strategy until it starts making you regular money and then you can relax as the money comes in.

Yes, affiliate marketing success is possible. I am living proof. Even though I only do it part-time, I make more money from it than what the average full-time salary is where I live. At this point, I am relaxing and watching my websites bring in money and working only about 10 hours a week on my projects. I make almost as much money from working 10 hours a week doing affiliate marketing as I do working almost 40 hours a week at my full-time job (it’s a job that I love and that is why I don’t quit).

I say don’t give up quite yet. Also, you may want to look into the newsletter I mentioned as it may help you immensely (www.mattbacak.com).
