What you need to do is pick better terms. The more specific a term the better the conversion rate will be. For instance, the term jewelery will bring alot of traffic but not alot of sales however the term discount 14k gold bracelet will most likely generate users who are ready to buy.

The trick is to find as many low cost, highly targeterd terms as you can to target in your ppc campaign and stop using broad un qualified terms. Here are some sites that can help you find better words.

I went and checked this out and it appears to me that that the CPA lead has to do with surveys and your websites content and you get paid when people answer a short survey and the company you do this through takes out a fee and pays the rest out to you whereas affiliate marketing is where you market a vendors digital or physical product for a commission.

I am a recent college grad, looking for a job. Since the market doesn’t look to promising at the moment, do you think it would be a good idea for me to focus on getting my CPA? Would it be easier for me to get a job if I get the license? I have a good GPA of 3.75 from a decent catholic university and did two internships, but still have a feeling that it will be a long time before I land my first job. What should I do?

Here is my $0.02
Here in the Boston area, employers have become quite selective. The recruiter in a "big 4"firm has 3 piles they make while going thru a stack of resumes. First pile are those with good GPAs, and 150 hours and/or having passed the CPA exam. Second pile are those with "just" an outstanding GPA. third pile is everyone else.
After you do your soul searching there, then you have to get your CPA done. find a State where you want to live&work in, where you meet the requirement for sitting for the exam and get to it. Chose a CPA review that you are confident will help you pass the 1st time. Time is money, so focus on VALUE

Accounting is one of the few fields that seems to be paying off right now. It will get glutted, though, if this rush keeps up. I wouldn’t go into Accounting unless I truly felt it was the right path for me. Everything gets glutted eventually; I have even heard that New Grad nurses are having a hard time getting jobs. Everybody rushed into Nursing School because it was a sure job! Find out what is right for you, because this Great Recession won’t last forever.

I am open to any suggestions. I just don’t want my marketing investment to turn into junk mail.

Well . . . it is junk mail. You just want the best chance that people will read the junk mail that you paid to send out.

For me, I won’t even read a letter from someone I don’t know, it goes straight to the shred pile. A post card, however, I’ll at least glance at on its way to the shred pile. So the chance that something on a card catches my eye is far greater than a letter.
