Why does everyone have such a NEGATIVE attitude towards internet marketing?

Monday, January 16th, 2012

When I talk to people about trying out internet marketing, talk to my dad about HOW MUCH BETTER it would be than FLIPPING BURGERS, people think I’m deceived, that I will fall for a scam.

Yet, most affiliate networks are not scams and they do pay. Yes there’s people making money online.

And guess what the general public’s attitude towards THEM is? Internet marketers are "scammers too lazy to get a real job".

Why?

Because of massive amounts of advertising from the internet to the gas station. People are sick of it and don’t trust ads anymore. People don’t trust marketers anymore because of all the broken promises they make and the money they charge. It’s a tough game and to succeed, you will need to be ruthless, or the best marketer in the world.

Affiliate Marketing Is Becoming a Joke?

Sunday, January 8th, 2012

I am not trying to troll or anything, but it seems so impossible for me to have visitors to my website. I tried these methods:

Social networks like FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, Delicious
Digg, Reddit, etc.,

Blog entries like WordPress, Squidoo, HubPages and Live Journal.

Other methods like traffic exchange, traffic generators, 1 way links, 3 way links, search directories, ads, banners, and backlinks.

Is Affiliate marketing is even real? I have been studying this for almost 7 months with 0 sells. There are over 500+ million users on FaceBook and I can’t get attention from any of them. Making many tweets on Twitter makes no process for me. I am out of ideas. Are there any free email marketing anywhere?

This is my website: http://www.toryshellclick.co.cc/

I hate to say this but if you have worked so hard and still have no traffic or sales then i have to ask is there a market for your product or service?
Do research into highly searched for keywords in your industry, there are many websites that can help you. Then make a list of these pages and then start to create pages specifically around these keywords, if you do it right and have good SEO you should soon start to see traffic.

Remember one of the definitions of madness is doing the same task repeatedly and expecting a different result.

How does one do business online (affiliate marketing) and keep one’s SSN safe?

Friday, January 6th, 2012

Most affiliate and CPA networks are legit in that they do pay if you’ve earned money. And most will safeguard your SSN, just like any other employer. But there are a few that will look OK, will pay its affiliates, but will also sell SSN’s to criminals on the side.

SO, making money online is great. THERE IS NO GRIND! NO COMMUTE! NO BOSS! NO CUBICLE! Plus people make money online all the time.

So if one tries to do that, how can he protect himself from SSN/credit fraud?

P.S. DON’T say "get a real job", because working online is in many respects BETTER than a real job, if you know what you’re doing.
This one had good reviews: https://www.blamads.com/

that’s a very good question and to be honest with you the only time you should ever have to put out your ssn is when it has to do with the taxes. So, be very careful!

With the Internet being what it is there’s no reason to limit yourself to someone in your physical area. Why not join a marketing forum online and tap into the knowledge of hundreds of people instead of limiting yourself to just one?

The best one online is probably Earn 1 K a Day.net. Tons of people to answer all your questions and coach you through every step that you need help with.

Do any of you know how an Affiliate Marketing Website should look?

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011

Hey guys im a newbie in the Affiliate marketing, I have done a ton of research in what to do; however, I do not know how to make my affiliate marketing site look to promote the products with the Network I am with. My only problem is, how should the affiliate marketing site look? please help!

Thanks guys!

An affiliate marketing website nowadays are all built on wordpress platform which are easy to maintain and update. Search engines just love these type of websites.

The affiliate website should give the people information what they are searching for and it should not be filled with graphics which might divert their attention. So keep the designs simple as much as possible and go only for 2 column wordpress themes which converts really well for affiliates and they just love the conversion rate.

One such simple affiliate website i found recently was http://iaffiliatemarketingtips.com and you can have a look at the design – it mainly concentrates on good content and then gives the visitors a call to action at the end of the post which converts really well.

Make sure you select a simple but effective theme for your website if you are an affiliate marketer. And one more thing good luck for your affiliate marketing journey. Wishing success.

Where Can I sell Articles (website content)?

Wednesday, August 31st, 2011

I am trying to find a place to sell 175 original website articles w/ SEO. I was just wondering if any website builder would be interested in this. These articles are about SEO, blogging, adsense, Adwords, and other articles of the like. They are all between 200-1200 words. I will leave an example of one below. Paypal for XML file, $50.00 for all. They would be great for a new website that doesn’t get too much traffic yet. I only left a partial article sample which is currently listed on my website.

Google Affiliate Network Marketing 101
Google Affiliate Network Marketing 101
Have you wondered what and how does affiliate marketing work? Affiliate marketing is in everybody’s lives every single day of the week. Affiliate marketing is actually a marketing strategy in which a certain business allots affiliates with rewards when new visitors and customers get associated with their business through you or your website. The efforts used to market these businesses is of great value. Google affiliate network marketing really has its benefits!

A good example to think of is one of those reward sites you see on the web. These sites offer you a prize of cash or goods after the completion of one of their thousands of offers. Another good way of looking at this is remembering back when you have received a monetary value for the referral of others. Affiliate marketing is all about helping someone else out in order to help you. The whole term of Google Affiliate network marketing goes round and round like a cueball which never gets locked up or stuck in a hole.

There are actually four core players when it comes to Google affiliate network marketing. These "players" include: The Merchant, the network, the publisher and finally the customer. Each player has their own role when it comes to affiliate marketing and it happens around every human dozens of times a day, whether you know it or not. The complexity of affiliate marketing has grown like weeds in a potato garden. The complexity of newer affiliate marketing strategies are due to the second tier of players. These secondary players of affiliate marketing include affiliate management agencies, specialized third parties vendors, and even super-affiliates.

Affiliate marketing has the ability to intertwine with many other internet marketing methods. With the ability to market both on the web and off, many businesses get to enjoy the flexibility. These intertwining affiliate and internet marketing strategies include many.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Search Engine Maerketing (SEM)
E-mail MarketingDisplay Advertisingand
so much more

The best place to sell all your articles is at freelance websites. This kind of websites pay writers for original content and you can get a good price for your hard work.

I would like to know which of the following business models is the most effective in the affiliate marketing. My affiliate program gives me a choice of business models and I can choose only one.

Loyalty/Rewards
Select this option if your primary business model is based on loyalty or rewards. For example, your site offers points, donations, or other rewards for purchasing at selected merchants. Loyalty/Reward sites give something back to the consumer in exchange for purchasing through the publisher’s site. A percentage of the advertiser commission is used to pay a reward to the end user. Rewards come in many forms including cash, airline miles, credit card points, or a percent of sale given to an organization.

Coupons/Deals
Select this option if your primary business model is based on offering coupons and deals to your customers.

General Shopping
Select this option if your primary business model is shopping. Shopping sites can be thought of as a virtual mall. The consumer can shop for various products and brands without ever having to leave the site. This type of publisher is not focused specifically on coupons and deals.

Search
Select this option if your primary business model is based on search. Search publishers promote advertisers via search engine marketing (natural or paid).

Price Comparison
Select this option if your primary business model is based on price comparison. Comparison shopping sites sell items where some comparison is made before the purchase. Many times the publisher will have direct product links of the same product from different advertisers.

Content/Niche
Select this option if your primary business model is based on content, such as news stories, media, music, or video. Content sites focus on a specific area of interest. This type of site is normally not a shopping site but users go to the site because they are interested in relevant content on site. Content sites that do well with performance-based marketing blend their area of expertise with product recommendations.

Social Shopping
Select this option if your primary business model is based on social shopping. Social shopping sites usually combine shopping with user recommendations, reviews, lists, and other social network features.

User Generated
Select this option if your primary business model is based on user-generated content such as communities, forums, and social networks.

Other
Select this option if your primary business model does not fall under any of the other categories.

Thanks

Most plans require you to have a web site to send your prospective buyers to.
I found Pay Spree which allows you to post to opt in lists with a direct link to the sales page.
No site required.
