How does one do business online (affiliate marketing) and keep one’s SSN safe?

Most affiliate and CPA networks are legit in that they do pay if you’ve earned money. And most will safeguard your SSN, just like any other employer. But there are a few that will look OK, will pay its affiliates, but will also sell SSN’s to criminals on the side.

SO, making money online is great. THERE IS NO GRIND! NO COMMUTE! NO BOSS! NO CUBICLE! Plus people make money online all the time.

So if one tries to do that, how can he protect himself from SSN/credit fraud?

P.S. DON’T say "get a real job", because working online is in many respects BETTER than a real job, if you know what you’re doing.

that’s a very good question and to be honest with you the only time you should ever have to put out your ssn is when it has to do with the taxes. So, be very careful!

that’s a very good question and to be honest with you the only time you should ever have to put out your ssn is when it has to do with the taxes. So, be very careful!
