How Can CPA Marketing Be A Good Source of Income?

Amid the tough economic times, everyone is looking for an extra stream of income. Opportunities are everywhere during difficult periods and the internet is a haven for cash cow seekers.

On the internet, a popular way to earn money is through affiliate networks. There are programs which will pay you for convincing people to purchase goods or services. There are also networks that will compensate for clicks made on specific advertisements. These are the ‘cost per action’ (CPA) networks that pay you for every action completed by a consumer.

With CPA, there there are no required sales, which means you don’t have to push a product or service real hard to anyone, to make any money. CPA or cost per action will give you the profit when you convince a person to give information, like their zip code or email address.

The information collected by the advertisers are crucial for the long term goals of their companies.

CPA Ads are Consumer Magnets. People soon take down their guard, when they see free gifts like vouchers, discount cards, or other freebie items, especially when all they have to do, is give some basic information about themselves.

The CPA programs attract people and all you have to do is show consumers where these CPA programs are online.

Easy Money? No one will deny that CPA profits are quite more lucrative than most sales commissions online. Since visitors really do not have to spend their money to buy, they are easier to convince to put in their information. In effect, profits are sent to your bank account.

Big Businesses use CPA Networks. CPA profits are cash cows for a lot of people, because big businesses know that it is the ‘in thing’ of online money making. Aside from that, big advertisers know that CPA networks have very strict rules in accepting affiliates. Best of both worlds – their businesses protected and you take home a chunk of their earnings.

Another good thing about promoting CPA offers, is that you do NOT need to have a website in order to make CPA profits. Most of the CPA networks provide excellent landing pages. You can use social networking, email marketing, PPC or my favorite, video marketing, to drive traffic to your CPA landing pages. From their, the system takes over, working for you, 24/7…365 days a year!

After Affiliate Jump You Don’t Need The CPA Networks

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

Getting accepted by the CPA networks has become impossible. 95% of all applicants get rejected often without any explanation. Normally, after the second or third rejection, most affiliates just give up. But fortunately two smart marketers by the name of Mike Filsaime and Joe Holland created a solution.
Their solution comes to the affiliate marketing world under the name of Affiliate Jump.
Not only any affiliate can now promote any CPA offer available out there, but now any affiliate can have an automatic access to a multitude of tools that have never been offered before by any of the CPA networks. It is indeed a very happy day, and a cause for celebration, for tens of thousands of affiliate marketers who have been rejected before.

Affiliate Jump is in fact a CPA network that draws tons of affiliate offers from other affiliate networks. So now all an affiliate needs to do is apply and start driving traffic to any offer he or she decides to promote.  No applicant gets rejected.
Affiliate Jump has become the bridge between the affiliate and the CPA offers that, up until today, were beyond the reach of 95% of all affiliates.

This new CPA network provides their members with the technology to create and host their sites in less then 20 seconds. And because all promotions are handled by them, affiliates get to check all their stats from one place inside their account. This on its own is a huge advantage for the affiliate, simply for the fact that instead of login into many different accounts, as is the case with other networks, now they can do it form one place.
But Affiliate Jump is not only a CPA network, but also a school for affiliates who need coaching. Their tutorials are second to none and cover all aspects of online marketing.
Affiliate Jump is the all-in-one CPA network that does not discriminate.  Be it a Newbie or a seasoned marketer, all is welcome. Any affiliate that joins Affiliate Jump does indeed jump a huge leap forward with a few clicks and one single application.
Many affiliate marketers will remember this day as the day that has changed the face of CPA Marketing forever.

CPA Offers: Play It Fair Or Get Out Of The Game

Saturday, June 27th, 2009

Being terribly unregulated, the CPA networks attract some affiliates to promote CPA offers who end up abusing the system. To find out how bad this trend has become, all one needs to do is visit some of the affiliate forums where these cyber thugs gather to share their latest scheme. Their idea of making money is to cheat the CPA network by generating leads unethically. But what these affiliates do not realize is that the game they engage in causes everyone to lose, including, and especially, them.

Most affiliates are honest and do very well with CPA offers; they earn their money the old fashion way – the ethical way.

The problem begins with a group of careless affiliates whose ethics sucks. These are those affiliates who rather spend their creative juices on finding ways to generate bogus leads than play it fair.  They have no qualms about building a landing page using fake testimonials and making outrageous claims about an offer. They are so blinded by their greed that nothing else is important to them.

But like all thieves, they end up hiding or running.  Living in constant fear of being caught, they try to keep a low profile, moving form one network to the next. But once caught they will be banned and will not get paid. And once banned from one network, they are practically banned by all, as they are put on the Black list that is shared amongst most networks. The only way such an affiliate can ever re-join those networks is come up with a new identity.

And although the cheaters are the minority, the consequences of their action affect everyone. Here is why: When a network sends the advertiser fake leads, the advertiser can choose not to pay the network. To make up for the loss, the network punishes all their affiliates by shaving off a certain percentage of the actual leads that those affiliates generate. In fact the cheaters’ phenomenon has become so prevalent that shaving off 10% or so is now the standard with most networks.

Until all the CPA networks come up with an efficient system that is able to track how each affiliate generates his/her leads, the rest of those who promote CPA offers the honest way will have to pay the price. The cheaters will do a world of good to themselves and others by playing fair. They must be told in the clearest terms to either play it fair or get out of the game.

CPA Offers: What Are They and How Do They Work?

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

The acronym CPA stands for Cost Per Action. CPA Offers are in most cases offers where a person is asked to fill out a form. Different companies (advertisers) require different information. Some are happy with only a zip code or an email address while others collect an entire profile. Your role as an affiliate (publisher) is to act as the middle man between the Advertiser and the CPA network.

You will be the one who goes out there, drive traffic to the offer and get paid every time an action is taken. Your commission is paid by the CPA network. Here is an example of how this works: the CPA networks charges the advertiser $4.50 per lead, the CPA pays you $3.50  for every lead you generate. The difference, a $1.00 in this case, is what the network keeps. And that’s what keeps them in business and in most cases very profitable.

You can expect to earn anywhere between $0.25 and $3.75 anytime you get a person to fill out a short form with, let’s say, a zip code or an email address. For longer forms where lots of information is required some companies pay up to $150.

The appeal of CPA offers is tremendous very much because these offers convert in a much higher rate than others where a prospect has to purchase something. Very often these offers provide an incentive in a form of a free download in exchange for information, hence the higher rate of conversions.

You can begin by applying to several CPA networks, bearing in mind that some are more stringent than others. In your application you want to appear as professional as you possibly can. The largest networks will not approve you unless you are able to convince them you are experienced enough to drive quality traffic to their offers.
If your application is not approved by some, don’t lose heart. Keep submitting to others until you are approved by several. In time, as you gain enough experience, you will be easily accepted to any CPA network you desire.

Once approved by a network you will be assigned a dedicated affiliate manager. This person is your best contact. Make sure you establish good relationship with him or her. They are there to help you find the most popular and best converting offers, as well as place your conversion codes on the advertiser’s success page. Once you begin to generate a good amount of traffic to any offer you can then feel free to contact your affiliate manager and negotiate a higher commission.

CPA offers are becoming very popular amongst affiliate marketers. There are practically hundreds, if not thousands, affiliate networks out there. Some of them have over a 1,000 different offers in different markets (verticals). You don’t need to be a genius to promote CPA offers, but you do need to know what you are doing. I recently came across a course that is, in my opinion, the best out there. Not only does it teach you how to promote CPA offers, but it also reveals secrets that until now have been guarded very tightly by the big dogs. You can learn all about it by visiting: CPA-Arbitrage

CPA Offers and Driving hordes of Free Traffic to Them

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

Imagine a world where you could generate all the traffic that you want for any CPA offer that you want and do all this for free. The sweet truth is that all this is available right now. But the sad truth is that most affiliates still limit themselves to the PPC arena, leaving tons of cash on the table.

Those who were around in the late 1990’s can still remember how easy it was to put together a website in any niche and  rank high for it in the search engines within a very short period. They got lots of free traffic from natural search.

Those days are gone, unless… you have an extra life time to wait. However when it comes to generating free traffic, there was never a better time in the Internet’s History than now.

Nowadays, thanks to Web 2.0 sites one can easily generate tons of well targeted traffic using social media marketing. When done properly one can drive hordes of free traffic simply by visiting places like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Squidoo and others, leaving behind  a comment that contains a link to a hub page, or even directly to their offer.

Putting together a blog these days is a no brainer and it is free. Word Press is one great example that comes with a 30 day challenge. Taking on their challenge would yield a great, fully SEO’d, blog, tons of ideas and a wealth of education. This is indeed a great way to jump start your affiliate marketing journey.

A great way to get your blog picked by the search engines is to post articles on your blogs and then submit them to the different article directories. When submitting your articles make sure you include a link to your blog.

While PPC has its place in promoting any online product, it is still a very expensive way to do so. In some niches the competition is fierce for the most popular keywords and the cost is very high. Any affiliate and especially those who promote CPA offers that pay only a few dollars per lead leave a great deal of money on the table by relying only on PPC. Learning how to generate free traffic is not that hard and it sure worth the effort.
